What is your role?
As a Senior Associate, you will combine technical leadership with strategic project and client management responsibilities. You will oversee structural design across multiple projects, mentor senior and junior engineers, and contribute to shaping the structural space at ADP Consulting.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading structural engineering design and delivery for complex building projects, including multi-material structures (concrete, steel, timber).
* Providing technical oversight, reviewing and signing off design documentation and reports.
* Mentoring and developing engineers at all levels, promoting technical excellence and professional growth.
* Managing client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for projects, and contributing to proposals and presentations.
* Supporting business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to tender submissions.
* Driving innovation, sustainability, and constructability in all projects, aligned with ADP's philosophy.

About You
* Experience: 10+ years' experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment, with a strong track record in building services projects. Experience in the aviation sector and design of steel structures highly regarded.
* Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Chartered (CPEng/Chartered Engineer) or eligible for sign‐off responsibilities.
* Sign‐off Capability: Experienced in providing structural design sign‐off for client submissions and regulatory approvals.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in ETABS, Spacegass, RAM Concept and structural design software relevant to the Australian market; in-depth knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC; experience with multi‐material structural systems.
* Leadership & Business Acumen: Strong team‐leadership, client management, and project delivery skills, with the ability to influence and grow client relationships.
