SLSQ Lifeguard Opportunity – Keeping Our Beaches & Lagoons Safe!

Join our dedicated team of Lifeguards and play a vital role in protecting the public while creating a safe and welcoming environment for beachgoers and visitors. This is a permanent full-time position based in the North Barrier Region (Townsville).

What You’ll Do:
* Carry out professional lifeguard operations in your allocated patrol area.
* Set up and maintain safe swimming zones, while keeping a close eye on hazards.
* Maintain up-to-date lifesaving skills and fitness levels.
* Provide safety advice to the public and stepping in with first aid, rescues, and resuscitation when needed.
About You:
* Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain).
* SLS Bronze Medallion and Certificate II in Public Safety.
* First Aid & Advanced Resuscitation Certificates.
* Strong swimming and fitness skills (lagoon or beach fitness testing applies).
* A genuine commitment to safety, teamwork, and child safeguarding.
