We are seeking enthusiastic, vibrant and creative Cooks to join our Food Services team
If you have commercial cooking experience and are looking for a varied and interesting work environment this is the ideal position for you.
Position
In this role you will work as part of a large team within the BRHS Food Safety Plan and the Healthy Choices guidelines to ensure the provision of a first-class food service to the hospital community.
It is essential that our cooks have a good understanding of the Food Safety Plan and the special dietary needs of patients and clients to ensure a high standard of food and beverage services are delivered.
Applicants require availability to work a range of shifts as required, across 7 days a week including public holidays.

Key Selection Criteria
Minimum Certificate lll in Commercial Cookery
Minimum Current Safe Food Handling Certificate and demonstrated knowledge of Food Safety Programs and HACCP compliance.
Knowledge and ability to cook and prepare meals for clients with special dietary requirements and follow recipes.
Demonstrated willingness and ability to provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
