About the role
We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team. Our Community Support Workers provide flexible care to our clients in their homes through a range of services, including
* Providing personal care
* Domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
* Social support & engagement
* Transportation & community access
About you
Essential
This role requires:
* Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent.
* Commitment to provide high quality, wellness focused care.
* The ability to work autonomously & in a team environment.

Desirable
* Experience working in aged care or community support work
* Familiarity with in-home care

* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* NSW Working with Children Check
* NSW Driver's License
* Insured Motor Vehicle
* First Aid and CPR Certificate
* A Smart Phone

Community Gateway is not-for-profit provider of aged care and disability services in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, South East Sydney and Mid North Coast regions of NSW.
We have been operating for more than 35 years and have a close connection to the communities in which we work.
Our services include case/care management, in home care and supports, respite, cleaning, transport services, social programs, life skills development, clinical care and allied health therapies.
