About the Role
Reporting to the CFO and CEO, this position offers a rate blend of strategic influence and operational oversight. You will lead a high performing and collaborative team, and act as a trusted advisor to the board, and drive financial performance and compliance across the group.
* Leading, mentoring and developing your team
* Presenting to the board and committee-level stakeholders, supporting governance and strategic decisions
* Acting as the commercial conscience of the business, developing robust business cases and advising on revenue strategies
* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, risk management, and reporting across group and divisional functions
* Overseeing the annual audit process, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Championing systems optimisation, financial controls, and the implementation of regulatory and audit recommendations
About You
You are a dynamic and commercially minded finance leader who thrives in complex, fast moving environments. You will have the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and the empathy to mentor and develop your team.
* CA/CPA qualification and extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles.
* Strong command of Australian Accounting Standards and external reporting requirements.
* Demonstrated success leading through change, ideally within a technical or knowledge-driven environment.
* A collaborative leadership style with a strong commitment to people development and succession planning.
* The ability to craft and present compelling business cases grounded in strategic insight and financial rigour.
* Excellent communication skills and a reputation for integrity, pragmatism, and clarity.
