Librarian – Library Services
The Opportunity
UniSC Library Services is a vibrant, innovative, and client-focused environment committed to enhancing student learning, academic research, and scholarly creativity. We are seeking a professional and proactive Librarian to deliver high-quality library services, provide research and information support, and contribute to Library initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice and support to students, staff, and other clients in accessing and using Library resources, services, and systems.
* Contribute to the design and delivery of information literacy and research skills programs across undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts.
* Develop, publish, and maintain digital content and learning resources that support Library services, including web content, guides, and multimedia resources.
* Actively participate in Library initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement activities, supporting a collaborative, inclusive, and high-quality service environment.

You are a client-focused and innovative library professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive in a collaborative, flexible, and evolving academic environment and are committed to enhancing student learning and research outcomes.
Qualifications
* Completion of a relevant degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in library, information, or a related discipline, with eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) where applicable.
* Demonstrated experience in advising and supporting clients in the use of print and electronic information resources.
* Experience developing and delivering online and face-to-face learning and research support materials.
* Strong organisational, teamwork, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based collaborative technologies.
* Adaptability to meet changing operational requirements in a digital and physical library environment.
