Overview
The Customer Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing end-to-end compliance oversight across all operational AML/CTF matters at Dabble. The role ensures strong adherence to regulatory obligations and internal policies throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding through to termination. It focuses on proactive risk management, data privacy protection and maintaining the integrity of all compliance processes.
This position acts as a key connection point between internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies. It requires a blend of analytical accuracy and sound judgment to monitor transactions, investigate anomalies and elevate issues when needed. By delivering accurate reporting, supporting governance activities and effectively applying AML/CTF frameworks, the analyst plays an essential role in protecting the business and supporting a culture of compliance and responsible engagement.
Primary Location
This role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane may be preferred.
Responsibilities
* Lead operational AML/CTF compliance across all stages of the customer lifecycle, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Act as the Compliance Officer under AML/CTF legislation, overseeing risk, data privacy and regulatory processes during onboarding, active play, cash-out and account closure.
* Monitor and uphold strong KYC standards, including identity verification, transaction monitoring and accurate record‑keeping.
* Manage escalations and anomalies such as suspicious transactions, policy breaches and potential non‑compliance, escalating matters to the Head of AML Compliance when required.
* Prepare and deliver weekly compliance reports to the Community Safety & Compliance Manager, highlighting AML/CTF performance insights and emerging risks.
* Respond promptly and professionally to regulatory, management and customer enquiries, collaborating with internal teams to resolve compliance issues.
* Maintain accurate workflow records within internal systems, ensuring all escalations, investigations and actions are fully documented.
* Support responsible gambling and data privacy obligations, assisting with filings and regulatory submissions as needed.
* Ensure effective implementation of AML/CTF Procedures Manuals (Parts A and B) in line with legislative requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong understanding of current AML statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Previous experience in the gambling industry within a financial crime or compliance team (highly desirable).
* High level of attention to detail.
* Solid understanding of legal and regulatory obligations, with a commitment to ongoing learning and upskilling.
* Experience in AML/CTF, licensing and regulation within a licensed betting environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities to manage high volumes of work.
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work autonomously and under remote management, often in high‑pressure environments.
* Confidence in communicating with senior management, regulators and external partners.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Remuneration
The advertised salary for this position is $90,000 – $105,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
