Vice President, Credit Management (Resources, Utilities, Infrastructure and Transport)Join MUFG as Vice President, Credit Management, leading credit risk for GCIB Oceania within the RUIT stream.About the roleIn this senior 'credit lead' role within the Front Office Credit Management function of the GCIB-RUIT team in Oceania, you will manage credit risk for GCIB Oceania within the RUIT stream.
While the preferred level is Vice President, we will also consider less experienced applicants with directly relevant skills, experience and background at the Associate level.
The role demands substantial maturity, experience and deal assessment abilities, strong relationship management with risk functions, and core responsibilities in project and credit process work.The role is crucial to the ongoing management and leadership within the RUIT stream, working closely with market-leading Relationship Managers and product partners.
You will support the execution of credit reviews, monitoring, and portfolio management within the internal procedures of MUFG.What you'll be doingLead the execution of market-leading transactions, including due diligence and credit and underwriting approval processes.Support the onboarding/origination of new clients as part of local, regional and global growth plans, potentially with exposure to our PF business.Support the Portfolio team in managing limit allocation, credit risk vs returns and collating data for portfolio reporting, review and strategy.Develop and foster effective working relationships with other internal teams.Prepare and deliver client presentations and develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching.Review and negotiate legal documentation, including commitments papers and credit agreements.Ensure internal controls comply with all Bank rules, policies, procedures and relevant regulatory prudential standards and requirements for Australia and New Zealand.What we are looking for10+ years' experience in a structured debt role at a Commercial Bank, Investment Bank or Fund.Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related field.Solid mathematical knowledge, Excel spreadsheet skills, research & analytical skills.Broad Australian industry, business and economic understanding.Strong financial analysis acumen and the ability to assess large sets of data, make expert judgment and identify key risks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-starter with drive, initiative and enthusiasm; a team player able to work independently and prioritise.Previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship to a developing team.Required technical knowledgeCredit writing.Financial analysis and modelling.Legal documentation and debt structuring.Our cultureMUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables employees to maximize customer prosperity.
