The Public Protection Branch (PPB) Australian National Child SexOffender Register (ANCOR) Principle Clinical Psychologist is arecognised clinical expert in Clinical Psychology practice and isresponsible for the clinical governance and professional leadershipof psychological services within the Public Protection Branch. Toensure best practice standards are achieved, the Principal ClinicalPsychologist works in partnership with key stakeholders oninitiatives, ensures contemporary interview, assessment, evaluationand risks identification are embedded in policy to support SeniorClinical Psychologists, branch objectives and operations.
The Principal Clinical Psychologist may also manage a clinicalcase load commensurate with responsibilities and is responsible forthe clinical supervision and support of AHP3 Senior ClinicalPsychologists.
Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian workeligibility status and will be subject to a criminal historycheck.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at thisremuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may berequired.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL'siEngage program.
Requirements
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Clinical or ForensicPsychology, be PsyBA-registered, and have an Endorsed Area ofPractice.
- Must be approved by the Psychology Board of Australia as asupervisor at all relevant levels.
SalaryAHP4 - $112,625 -$122,610 per annum.
