The Package: $375.83 - $415.27 gross per week + 11% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2023).

Position Overview: This position sits within the Animal Management team assisting with the Animal Management Facility administrative tasks and maintaining and providing clean hygienic accommodation for animals. Tasks will include adoptions, release and impound of animals and data entry. This position also involves identifying diseases, injuries or illnesses of animals and treating appropriately where possible. This role requires regular weekend and public holiday work to provide customer service to community members and external stakeholders.
Who we are looking for: Council is seeking an individual who holds qualifications in animal studies and/or experience in animal handling. The successful candidate will be available to work regular weekends and public holidays and have sound knowledge of animal health and behavioural issues. They will have the capability to consistently provide a high level of customer service and advice. The ability to effectively plan, organise and set priorities, as well as effectively use Microsoft suite programs is essential to the success of this role.
