We would welcome applicants with backgrounds in water, developments and/or roads to complement our growing Civil Engineering Team of specialists in these areas.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of specialist (water or roads) or multidisciplinary projects, including design documentation, technical reports, and specifications.
Act as Project Manager and Lead Designer for civil projects across state, municipal, authority, commercial, and marine sectors—delivering within scope, budget, and timeframes.
Prepare fee proposals, manage client expectations, and coordinate project resources.
Liaise with clients, contractors, stakeholders, councils, and authorities.
Build strong relationships with clients to become trusted advisors.
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
Contribute to continuous improvement and technical development within the team.
About You
8+ years' post-graduate experience in civil engineering (desirable).
Eligibility for or current Chartered status (CPEng) with Engineers Australia.
Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of water, sewer, stormwater, and road infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of WSAA, TasWater, IPWEA, AR&R standards, Austroads, and relevant Australian Standards.
Understanding of geotechnical fundamentals and experience compiling specifications and contracts.
Excellent written communication skills, including technical report and specification writing.
Experience in a consulting environment with a good grasp of commercial drivers.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, client-focused approach.
