We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic **ICT Procurement Officer **to join our Federal Government client
One of our Federal Government Client's Teams facilitates ICT procurement processes on behalf of the business areas within the department and other agencies. The ICT Procurement Officer will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-level service and deliver business requirements within tight timeframes.
This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this **6 month contract **with **an additional 6 months of** **extensions **offered.
**Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance **will be considered for this role.
**The experience and skills for this role are**:
- 3 - 5 years' experience in an ICT Procurement role (Software, Hardware, ICT Services and ICT Contractors)
- Experience in publishing briefs on DTA Marketplace
- Experience in drafting work orders, change orders using templates
- Expertise and experience in the Commonwealth's ICT sourcing practices;
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to provide sound advice on a range of moderately complex issues;
- An understanding of financial systems (eg: SAP) and processes;
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide timely, considered and accurate advice to a range of stakeholders;
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate mutually productive working relationships; and
- Be adaptable and resilient with the ability to multi-task and prioritise delivery of outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
**It is desirable from our client to be proficient with the below**:
- Experience in Financial Reporting.
- Certificate IV in Government Procurement and Contracting or higher
