Network SME – Endpoint Connectivity & Telecom Transformation
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network SME to lead Endpoint Connectivity initiatives within the Telecom domain and drive LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi transformation in alignment with Cybersecurity and Telecom platform strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Network Endpoint Connectivity, covering LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
* Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, and domestic network connectivity (including remote ATMs and virtual office connections).
* Support and enhance the Global Access Network (International MPLS backbone) and SD-WAN overlay.
* Act as the primary SPOC for Network Connectivity services, coordinating with Telecom teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
* Deliver production support, maintain knowledge base documentation, and generate operational data for trend and performance analysis.
* Provide technical and process guidance to project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple centres.
* Collaborate closely with Telecom, Cybersecurity, and other technology teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Identify service delivery issues (SLA slippages, post-implementation issues, escalations) and drive timely resolution.
* Lead and participate in regional and global calls, crisis meetings, and project discussions.
* Assess and mitigate operational and delivery risks, ensuring contingency planning and service resilience.
* Drive continuous improvement, enhancements, and roadmap strategy for Network Endpoint Connectivity.
* Work with vendors on solution delivery, performance optimisation, and strategic initiatives.
* Ensure service sustainability, resilience, and compliance with recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of experience in the Network domain
, focusing on LAN/WAN, MPLS, Wi-Fi, and SD-WAN.
* Strong background in network design and hands-on implementation.
* Experience with network technologies including SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, Cloud Networking, and Infrastructure Automation (CI/CD).
* Hands-on experience with
LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi solutions
(Juniper Mist preferred).
* Working knowledge of
Cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
and automation tools such as
Ansible, Python, Terraform
.
* Good understanding of Network Security components: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS, Proxy, etc.
* Experience with network monitoring, device performance management, and operational support tools.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving ability and experience working in critical infrastructure environments.
* Proven experience in stakeholder management, including business units, partners, and vendors.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g.,
CCNP
) are preferred.
Good to Have
* Expertise in advanced SD-WAN, Cloud Networking, and network security technologies.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
* Exposure to automation pipelines (CI/CD).
