We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team at our new head office in Osborne Park. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage financial records with accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow statements
* Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate coding, balance sheet reconciliations
* Posting of monthly general journals
* Formulation of budgets / forecasts on a quarterly basis and variance analysis
* Monthly maintenance of the fixed asset register
* Prepare and submit statutory returns including BAS, Payroll, and FBT returns
* Preparation of the annual financial statements, including supporting work papers
* Liaising with external accountants and JV partner
* Revenue invoicing and AR collection
* Bank statement / cashbook reconciliation and postings
* Ensure compliance with company policies
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Accounting role
* Working towards CPA/CA qualifications or in progress
* Attention to detail, with a desire to probe further into data
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial language to non-financial stakeholder
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
