 
        
        In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and governance of government advertising initiatives for the Queensland Government. You will be atthe forefront of government advertising efforts, ensuring that campaigns are well-managed, compliant with guidelines, and aligned with broader government objectives. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the way government communicates with the public through advertising, making a meaningful impact. 
Your role will be multifaceted, requiring a blend of administrative precision, strategic insight, and strong communication skills. Your proactive approach to process improvement will be key in ensuring that the government's advertising efforts are not only effective but also efficient and innovative. 
**Role responsibilities**: - Coordinating the administrative activities associated with the Secretariat, including organising fortnightly meetings, where your attention to detail will be essential in preparing and managing agendas, documents, minutes, records of decisions, and action items 
- Providing project governance and communication advice to stakeholders in government agencies 
- Interpreting policies and guidelines, and navigating advertising processes, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements 
- Ensuring that all campaigns are compliant and strategically sound 
- Coordinating the annual advertising plan review process across the government. 
This will involve compiling the overarching annual plan, which captures the advertising activities of various agencies 
- Maintaining and managing campaign expenditure reporting, ensuring that all financial aspects of advertising are transparent and well-documented 
- Research and monitor advertising and media trends 
- Identify and report on opportunities or risks associated with government advertising, providing valuable insights that could influence future campaigns and strategies
