Job Overview
The position of Client-facing Technical Subject Matter Expert leads the Engineering capability go-to-market messaging, focusing on digital continuity. This role involves working closely with regional sales leaders for customer engagement and serving as a trusted adviser to drive engineering offerings.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead RFI/RFP discussions and submissions
* Arrange demonstrations for customers and influence decisions in favor of Capgemini's products
* Leverage Capgemini's portfolio and create value propositions for customer meetings
* Drive end-to-end solution proposals working in collaboration with global teams
* Identify new GTM offerings potential for Capgemini's products and solutions
* Develop and expand regional partnerships working in close coordination with global partnership teams
* Evaluate products and offerings from strategic partners and propose solutions to best fit customer requirements
* Consult with clients as Solutions Architect/Principal Consultant
* Demonstrate tangible business benefits of innovation to clients
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a large System Integrator preferred
* 10+ years in core Engineering fields
* Proven record of accomplishment in R&D services or solutions business
* Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical, Electronics, or Information Technologies preferable
* Advanced knowledge of the digital manufacturing market, competitors, and offerings
* Experience in OT and/or Engineering IT (PLM, MES, IoT, Digital Twin, Digital Simulation)
* Expertise on major ISV platforms (Siemens, PTC, Dassault, AVEVA and equivalent) ideal
* Entrepreneurial and autonomous spirit
* Team player used to working with global teams in a complex, matrix structure
* Able to work under pressure
