About the Claims Specialist Position
We are seeking a skilled and proactive claims specialist to join our team. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing our Claims operations by ensuring exceptional claim file management and delivering client-centric results.
Main Responsibilities:
* Policy Review and Assessment: Reviewing insurance policies, assessment reports, and specialist reports to determine coverage.
* Liability Establishment and Negotiation: Establishing and negotiating liability with insured parties, third parties, and external stakeholders.
* Settlement Confidence: Managing settlements with insured clients confidently and effectively.
* Claim File Management Excellence: Ensuring exceptional claim file management that meets our highest professional standards.
* Client-Centric Service Delivery: Delivering client-centric results by following our trusted claims guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Expertise: Technically strong, experienced claims specialist with deep insurance knowledge.
* Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in General Insurance claims, specifically across motor claims, liability, and commercial property.
* Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of general insurance at a Tier-2 level.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications, such as a Diploma in General Insurance (preferred) or ASIC RG146 (desirable).
* Rural Industry Knowledge: Agricultural experience or knowledge of the rural industry is desirable.
