Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary Teachers (Physical Education, Science & Mathematics) to join our team. Positions are available across all year levels (Years 7-12) and all subject areas. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement creative teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Uphold the values of Respect, Resilience, and Healthy Relationships in all interactions with students, staff, and the community.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board.
- Ochre Card
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment practices for secondary education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the school community.
- Australian citizens or permanent residents.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
