ECO Environmental is seeking a full-time Senior Electronics Technician to support our experienced team in a variety of interesting and challenging roles in our Perth warehouse.
This position aligns with the needs of the growing environmental services sector and ECO Environmental's expansion. With offices in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, and Singapore, we are building our presence in this market and are actively seeking dedicated individuals to join us on this exciting journey.
ECO Environmental specializes in remote monitoring, and this role aims to enhance our capabilities in this area. The successful candidate will work within a leading team of technicians and demonstrate initiative to work independently.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design, assembly, and integration of remote monitoring stations, including data loggers and sensors.
* Managing our fleet of remote monitoring stations, including data loggers, solar power systems, batteries, and sensor integration.
* Troubleshooting equipment faults via phone or email with clients.
* Assisting in the servicing and repair of environmental monitoring equipment, focusing on electronic aspects.
* Overseeing technical operations and management reporting.
* Managing off-site work activities.
* Project management of new contracts.
Candidate requirements:
* Trade qualifications in electrical or electronics engineering.
* Minimum 12 months experience in an electronics role, including software systems.
* Experience with environmental monitoring equipment is advantageous.
* Ability to plan and prioritize technical activities.
* Confidence in reporting technical updates to management.
* Good personal presentation standards.
* Enthusiasm and energy for the work.
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.
