Lancefield & Romsey Community Financial Services Limited is a franchisee of Bendigo Bank and operates the locally owned Community Banks of Lancefield and Romsey.
The Board is looking at refreshing and adding to its membership. The company is seeking interested candidates to apply to join like-minded directors in this highly active organisation.
The Community Bank is a major contributor to the amenity and financial wellbeing of our Romsey and Lancefield communities, and has distributed approximately $3.5 million in grants and sponsorships to local groups over the past 24 years.
The company is particularly seeking applicants with experience in finance or accounting, with strategic thinking skills as we embark on the evolution of the community bank model. These roles may be of interest to people with broad experience across a number of disciplines and sectors.
An understanding of corporate governance would be highly valued, together with the ability to invest your time and energy. Training and professional development is available.
The positions are pro bono and a strong commitment to community affairs is essential. There is a minimum commitment of at least 10 hours per month, including a Board meeting on the first Monday evening of each month, membership of board committees and community engagement as a board representative.
