Position Overview
The Regional Manager (RM) role will be responsible for ensuring excellence in Group Training service delivery across the Sunshine Coast Region for East Coast Apprenticeships (ECA).
The position will have direct oversight of all Business Development Officers, Field Officers, and Field Support Officers for the Sunshine Coast region. As a member of the senior management team, the RM will also be accountable for achieving set ECA goals and KPIs within the Sunshine Coast region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, develop and support the Sunshine Coast team to build ECA's contribution to current and future skills development and presence across Central and Southeast Coast of Queensland.
* Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the Sunshine Coast region, strengthening the expertise of the team and facilitating the achievement of KPIs and organisational objectives.
* Ensure apprentices and trainees within the Sunshine Coast region are well-supported, engaged, and successfully placed within relevant host employment and training organisations to maximise future employment opportunities.
* Proactively participate in development of strategies to achieve retention and market growth, specifically identifying new opportunities to increase apprenticeship and traineeship placements in the Sunshine Coast region.
* Contribute actively to budgeting, forecasting and recording of revenue, expenses, asset and liability management within the Sunshine Coast region.
* Develop and deliver operational plans aligned with ECA's strategic plan, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of Group Training services across the Sunshine Coast.
* Maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders on the Sunshine Coast including educational institutions, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and schools.
* Engage in risk management strategies to ensure that operational processes minimise risk to ECA and its stakeholders.
Experience & Skills
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in business development and/or account management, including previous operational leadership experience, and exposure to vocational education and training. Holding a degree in Business Management or a related field is highly desirable.
Possessing strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various industry stakeholders, will be needed. You will be results-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement, compliance with regulatory/WHS requirements and industry-best practices.
