Job Role
* Assist the on-site manager with electrical and cabling systems installations, drawing interpretations, programming, testing, and commissioning across commercial building sites.
* Work collaboratively with a team of technicians, tradesmen, and project managers to deliver electrical projects in accordance with company standards and timeframes.
* Maintain adherence to relevant codes and industry standards governing electrical installation and maintenance.
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
* Manage administrative tasks including call reports and time sheets.
* Attend call-outs as per roster requirements.
* Demonstrate proficiency with electrical and mechanical tools.
* Understand written information and instructions, correspond clearly and concisely.
* Track inventory components used in work processes and ensure parts are correctly booked out to tasks.
* Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology.
* Possess a construction induction card.
* Hold a current Australian driver's license.
* Own a vehicle.
* Have year 12 qualifications (preferred).
* Be proficient in English and Mathematics.
* Meet additional qualification requirements as necessary.
* Gain experience in trade or customer service roles (beneficial but not mandatory).
* Ability to climb a ladder.
* Willingness to perform overtime and shift work when required.
* Pass a national police and medical check.
