Responsibilities
Reporting to the Coordinator Town Planning and based in Windsor NSW, this position is responsible for processing development and associated applications which have been submitted to Council under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Local Government Act 1993, and related legislation.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline
* Relevant experience in the assessment of development applications
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Environment Planning & Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 and associated legislation and regulations as they relate to development assessment
* Developed communication skills both verbal and written including report writing skills
* Experience with complex and/or contentious developments is desirable
* The right to live and work in Australia
* Class C Drivers Licence
* WHS General Construction Work in NSW
* Working with Children Check (WWCC)
