About the Role
The Desktop Technician will provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve hardware, software, and application issues within a ticketing system. The candidate will facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Center. The Desktop Support Engineer provides break-fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):
1. Be the IT Hero: Resolve hardware/software issues for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
2. Keep Things Moving: Manage IT setups for meeting rooms, printers, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and VIP users.
3. Team Up: Collaborate with global IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
4. Hands-On Support: Reboot servers, run diagnostics, and assist with infrastructure projects.
5. Prevent Fires: Proactively maintain systems to avoid downtime.
Qualifications
1. Must be a citizen of Australia or have a legal working permit that does not require sponsorship.
2. At least 3 years of experience in IT support.
3. Well-mannered communication skills with a positive attitude.
