Overview
Are you a qualified Carpenter with strong shopfitting experience? Do you take pride in your workmanship and enjoy variety in your day-to-day tasks? We're looking for a Maintenance Carpenter to join our team and help maintain and enhance facilities across multiple commercial and educational sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on carpentry and general maintenance duties across sites
- Complete repair and installation work to a high standard, with a focus on timber, cabinetry, and fittings
- Deliver quality finishes on shopfitting tasks, including partitions, shelving, and custom builds
- Identify and resolve on-site issues with minimal supervision
- Liaise with site managers and clients to scope and complete jobs efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good working condition
Qualifications
- Trade-qualified Carpenter (or extensive hands-on experience in carpentry and maintenance)
- Robust shopfitting experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read plans and work autonomously
- Problem-solver with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and safety-focused
- Current Driver's Licence (essential for travel between sites)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
