Job Opportunity

This role provides essential administrative and clerical support services to enable the Clinical Director Mental Health Service (MHS) to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.

The role is based at Shellharbour Hospital, which is located on Dharawal Country. The hospital is a busy acute care facility that provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services on site.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative and clerical support to the Clinical Director MHS
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including maintaining records and preparing reports
* Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures
* Collaborate with other departments and teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff


Requirements

* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Degree or diploma in administration or a related field
