About the Role
Working closely with our Survey Manager, Registered Surveyor and senior team members, you'll be involved in the delivery of projects from fieldwork through to final plans and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with and progressively leading components of cadastral, engineering and control surveys;
* Undertaking survey fieldwork, calculations and survey searching;
* Preparing and drafting survey plans and reports using CAD software (AutoCAD and Topcon Magnet);
* Supporting the checking, finalisation and filing of plans and documentation;
* Liaising with internal team members, clients and external stakeholders;
* Managing survey equipment and vehicles;
* Contributing to projects in line with agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
This role offers a balance of office‐based and field work, with exposure to varied environments and project types.
Qualifications
You'll also have a strong interest in continuing professional development and working towards Registered Surveyor accreditation.
Required Experience
* A bachelor's degree in surveying or equivalent;
* Practical experience across surveying fieldwork and drafting;
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Topcon Magnet and Microsoft Office (or similar software programs) and strong IT skills and ability to learn relevant software programs;
* Working knowledge of relevant surveying and planning legislation;
* Strong time management, attention to detail and problem‐solving skills;
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work well in a team;
* A proactive approach and accountability for your work;
* A current Australian driver's licence.
