As a seasoned professional in the construction sector, you will have the opportunity to take on a senior role within our organization. The Senior Bid Manager position entails overseeing the end-to-end tendering process across national business.
The Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for coordinating bid responses, ensuring a clear demonstration of capability, value and experience. This will involve taking the lead in the preparation and submission of high-quality EOI's and tenders. Additionally, you will provide leadership, mentoring and construction expertise to pre-contracs team.
* Prepare and present post tender presentations or attend interview.
* Assist estimating manager to identify and implement learning and development opportunities among the team.
* Be a key contributor in continual improvement of internal systems and processes.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
* More than 5 years of proven experience managing tenders or bids within civil construction, infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
* Prior background in estimating, project engineering or commercial management desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to manage full bid lifecycle, initial opportunity assessment through to submission, negotiation and handover to delivery teams.
