**Are you up for this?**
- Assist the sales team in securing new group & catering opportunities, using technology and your straightforward with a wink approach to showcase staying at Aloft different, by design.
- Ensure that strategies are in place to facilitate the efficient and effective staffing of department.
- Handle and follow up with event enquiries, demonstrating your open thinking and expression to anticipate our guest needs
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements
- Support the hotel's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by enhancing their experiences and moving at the pace of our guests
- Assist and coordinate site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion - showcasing your sassy and savvy personality
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and guests to provide guests with stays that are very much out of the ordinary, enabling future booking
- Act as an Aloft ambassador and promote awareness for the distinctive hotel
- Facilitate the design and creation of printed material, payment posting and other general administration support
**Your Vibe**:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a banquet operations and event planning role preferable.
- Hotel Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Working rights in Australia.
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with good time management.
- Proficient in English and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
