Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) assists 29 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools located throughout Regional NSW, to maximise student learning, growth and development.

CEDWW staff are responsible for providing on‐going operational guidance and administrative assistance across the areas of Learning and Teaching, Student Wellbeing and Diverse Learning, Evangelisation and Religious Education, School and System Improvement, Finance and Resources, Information and Communication Technologies and People and Culture services.

Your New Role

This role exists to support the Administration Team, who are responsible for working towards Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga's (CEDWW) vision and mission, and the goals of the office's effective management of duties assigned to the team. The front reception is responsible for the delivery of a professional customer‐centric quality service.

This position provides a positive, warm and professional first encounter with key stakeholders and is responsible for the smooth operation of the office requirements including hospitality, pool vehicle, travel and accommodation, meeting room management and other administrative tasks that support office operation.

Whilst undertaking a Certificate 3 in Business and Administration, you will develop your skills and knowledge through on‐the‐job training by working alongside and supported by the Senior Administration Officer where you will gain what is necessary to work in the administration field. The pay will be based on your school level and years out of school.

What We Can Offer

* Full Time, Temporary 12 month Traineeship Position
* Role to commence as soon as possible
* 35 hours work week. Monday – Friday

Essential Criteria

* Proficiency in the use of relevant software packages
* Good communication (oral and written) and customer service skills relevant to the role
* Effective time management skills to work independently, along with the ability to contribute as a positive member of a collaborative team
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
* The ability to adapt to change and open to upskilling and further development
* Current Drivers Licence
* Current NSW Working With Children Check
* Successful Candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check
* Accreditation for Support Staff (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve
