About the role
Brunswick Tavern is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our talented culinary team. As an Experienced Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced, friendly pub environment. This full-time role is based in our tavern located in Brunswick, WA 6224.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing high-quality meals in a timely manner using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
* Ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and implement changes
* Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to maintain sufficient supplies
* Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to customer requests
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment
* Strong time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a busy kitchen
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with the team
* Creative flair and a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create delicious meals
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Food safety certification and knowledge of food hygiene regulations
