An exciting opportunity for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our Platform team is available. You’ll be in a hands-on role responsible for our cloud environments (Microsoft Azure) and work closely with the Chapter Lead, Cloud Architects, Security Engineers, and Site Reliability Engineers to provide our cloud platform-as-a-service to the product engineering teams.
The DevOps Engineering team builds cross-team tooling and services that ensure security of our products to deliver customer value efficiently, confidently, and to a high degree of quality.
The team is a small, tight, and highly collaborative team working across multiple disciplines. We like to have fun and work hard to look after each other.
About the role:
3. Delivering Internal capabilities and projects with a keen sense of ownership
4. Collaborate with cloud architect and security engineers/architects to implement and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
5. Bring solutions to operational readiness and provide re-usable patterns to the business
6. Strong Azure skills in design implementation and delivery, with ARM, Azure DSC and Terraform
7. Create a delivery process with shift left policy on security and quality by automating security tools testing
8. Drive best practice and in IAC DevOps and SRE
9. Automate tasks and develop tools to increase efficiency and visibility using PowerShell, Python
10. Automating Workflows and key processes
11. Process design and implementation to remove cost and complexity of delivering cloud native services
12. Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices, including security and data protection standards
13. Collaborate with product engineering teams to design and implement application infrastructure
14. Provide Audit Artifacts and work with authors
About you
15. Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record or similar
16. Technical industry certifications in infrastructure technologies/products
17. Strong skill sets with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Infrastructure testing
18. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python
19. Solid understanding of Accenture, security practices and principles
20. Strong knowledge of Architecture and patterns
21. Experience with infrastructure as code tools, DSC tooling
22. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
23. Ability to network with stakeholders and customers
24. Excellent understanding of Azure and certifications highly regarded
25. A “You build it, you own it!” mentality
