Our client is a leading alternative investment firm (>$5bn AUM) managing property, private equity, and credit funds across Australia and globally. Due to growth in their Capital Raising team, they are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to drive smooth day-to-day operations, allowing the team to focus on investor engagement and fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor and Client Support
* Assist with the preparation of investor presentations (including updates each month for relevant funds), pitch decks, and marketing materials.
* Manage logistics for investor meetings, roadshows, and events.
* Setup quarterly webinars or other fund launch webinars
* Drive the delivery of monthly investor reports, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
* Handle sensitive investor documents with absolute discretion
* Lead smooth, efficient fund onboarding with platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
* Partner with Marketing to deliver impactful cross-functional initiatives.
Investor Engagement
* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
* Forge and nurture strong relationships with key investors, counterparties, and platform partners.
Project Assistance
* Track fundraising timelines, deliverables and follow-up relevant team members for deliverables
* Assist in compiling data for investor reporting and due diligence requests.
* Establish and maintain data room
* Maintain Fund DDQs
Ideal background:
* Finance (or similar) degree.
* 3-5years of relevant experience ideally within financial services, private equity, or asset management.
* Experience in professional support roles - such as investor relations, client service, marketing or operations - is highly relevant.
* Experience with and understanding of capital raising / distribution highly regarded.
* High level of proficiency with PowerPoint (editing templates) and CRM systems.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
* Proactive and resourceful with a strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
