About You and the Centre Director Role
You will spend a significant portion of your life at work, so we strive to make it an enjoyable place. We value relationships with educators, families and you as a leader, and we will not list every responsibility here—instead, you will lead with vision, culture, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the service; culture, quality and outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with child safety and educational standards.
* Collaborate with the Centre-based leadership circle to support staff, pedagogy and student progress.
* Champion continuous improvement and a supportive environment for teachers.
Nido’s Centre‑Based Leadership Circle
* Executive Service Manager (Centre Director): Leads service culture, quality and outcomes.
* Curriculum Leader: Coaches across all classrooms, observes, mentors and influences quality practices (at least 2 days out of classroom).
* Family Advocate: Builds strong family relationships, onboarding new families and connecting with the community (25–35 hours a week).
