We are looking for a skilled
Electrical & Instrumentation Controls Engineer
to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions and support various projects within our portfolio. Experience with controls systems is essential, and RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement electrical systems and solutions for a range of projects.
* Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical control systems.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Consultancy experience within the mining and minerals sectors preferred.
* Knowledge and exposure to PLC programming
* Experience using software including Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley
* Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
* Experience within several electrical control systems is a bonus.
* RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) qualification is desirable.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.
