We are seeking a skilled Quarry Operator to operate mobile and fixed plant equipment, including loaders, excavators, dump trucks, watercarts, and crushing/screening equipment in a quarry or mining environment.
Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of safety, health, and environmental performance.
* Operate complex machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Perform regular maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
* Assist with manual handling and general laboring tasks as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience operating mobile plant in a quarry or mining environment, with strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of fixed crushing and screening operations.
* A commitment to upholding the highest safety standards, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* A current driver's license; RII competencies, and Certificate III in Extractive Industries are highly regarded.
* Previous experience as a leading hand is also highly valued.
