Sales Administrator – Humphris Nursery
Humphris Nursery, one of Australia's leading horticultural businesses, is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Administrator to join their dynamic sales team.
This role plays a central part in supporting our sales operations. As a key team member, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a varied administrative role. Your primary responsibility will be managing and coordinating sales order processes, providing customer support to our retail nursery customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all transactions.
Success in this position requires strong organizational and time management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Supporting Account Sales Managers with daily tasks
* Handling of future orders – contacting customers when stock is ready
* Assisting customers when they visit site.
* Processing and entering customer sales orders in system
* Responding to customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability
* Performing general data entry tasks
* Handling payments cash or credit card of orders
* Answering and directing phone calls and emails
* Maintaining and updating customer and sales records
About You
This role would suit someone who has:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong time management and planning abilities
* A proactive attitude with a high level of initiative and accountability
