We are seeking a reliable Gas Delivery Driver to join our operations team in Adelaide. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting and collecting gas cylinders for commercial and residential customers across the region.
As a Gas Delivery Driver, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of products to customers. You will be required to drive 4-12 tonne trucks, completing pre-start and walkaround checks to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading bulk cylinder and individual cylinder products, as well as completing all relevant paperwork and activity, including using handheld scanner technology to log deliveries and monitor stock.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Loading and delivering bulk cylinder and individual cylinder products - perform multi drop deliveries.
* Driving 4-12 tonne trucks, ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness through pre-start and walkaround checks.
* Completing all relevant paperwork and activity (consignment notes, etc) and meet electronic requirements - including using handheld scanner technology to log deliveries and monitor stock.
* Prioritizing safety at every level, with a high level of safety exerted in road and traffic safety and patience.
* Reporting any hazards, safety concerns, near misses and accidents and incidents.
* Be able to keep track of time and be efficient as possible.
* Communicating effectively and courteously with clients and customers during deliveries.
