About the Role
Join our ALS Water team in Scoresby as a Sample Receipt Triage and play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of samples.
Your responsibilities will include accurately triaging and receipting samples, organising them in the cool room, and maintaining storage areas. You'll also assist with additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
This role is 12-Month Fixed Term. Part-time, 20 hours per week – Tuesday to Friday 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications or experience in science is not required, but an interest to learn is key. If you're a detail-oriented team player with excellent organisational skills, we'd love to hear from you!
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Reception duties – greeting couriers, customers and ALS Samplers delivering samples.
* Triaging samples accurately and promptly, ensuring that urgent samples are prioritised.
* Receipting and placing samples in the cool room in the appropriate order after they have been logged.
* Maintaining sample fridge and other esky store areas.
* Other duties as requested by the Team Leader relating to this position.
