Mac Developments is a well known construction Company with strong expertise in design and construct new homes, duplex, Townhouses and Units.Mac developments provides the best renovations and designs in short periods of time and with the best quality material and labour you can find.Mac developments is now looking for a talented Carpenter to join their team.The right candidate will be responsible for:Install, maintain, and repair a variety of products, ranging from cabinets to insulation to tile to drywall;Perform work in accordance with safety best practices;Maintain tools and equipment in safe operating condition;Conduct building inspections and identify needed repairs;Document repairs and maintain thorough records;Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed;Build doors, cabinets, and windows;Measure and mark materials for alterations;Study specifications in blueprints, sketches and building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required;Build and repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools;About you:At least 1 year of experience as a Carpenter;Strong carpentry and building skills;Ability to use hand and electric tools;Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects;Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials;Ability to read and interpret blueprints;Job type: Permanent/full-timeSalary: $73,000 - $85,000
