About the business
Aruma River Resort is located on the River Murray at Walker Flat, 36km upstream from Mannum and 1.5 hours drive from Adelaide. Aruma is a Community Title property with 14 existing shacks on privately owned lots. There is a large common area lawn encompassing a solar heated pool and tennis court. There is an extensive riverfront and boat ramp for use by residents.
What we seek
We are looking for a friendly and skilled Park Manager which would be well suited to a couple. The successful candidate will be required to live on-site in the Park Manager's residence. You will oversee the shared community facilities, engage with Shack Owners and park guests to ensure the Park’s successful operations while reporting to our Management Committee.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :-
* Completion of grounds-keeping tasks, to ensure a high standard of appearance throughout the park including maintenance of pool, lawns, gardens, trees, painting etc.
* Completion of maintenance tasks across all park facilities, including maintenance of equipment and the park's overall features and aesthetic appearance.
* Ensure the park is compliant with all safety, statutory and brand standards.
* Performing park management responsibilities as required including out of hours security checks and attending to out of hours emergencies and/or crisis situation
* Undertake lawn mowing of owners’ lawns on a regular schedule
What we're looking for
* Experience in park maintenance
* Must provide own tools and equipment
* Preferably trade qualified, however not essential
* Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities
* Current drivers licence
* Pool operations qualification (or ability to obtain)
* First aid certificate
* Reasonable computer skills
* Great people and relationship building skills
