Fulton Hogan's Manufacturing Business located in Geebung is seeking a Plant Operator to join our Production team on a full-time permanent basis.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating our PMB and Emulsion plant to produce bitumen and emulsion to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan activities for production of bitumen and emulsion.
* Communicate directly with customers and transport drivers to schedule orders and load vehicles.
* Work closely with quality control team to ensure bitumen and emulsion meets customer specifications.
* Encourage safe work practices and ensure safety procedures are adhered to.
* Provide positive input at pre-starts, toolbox and safety meetings and comply with relevant company policies, procedures and site rules.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Previous experience in a production environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and environmental practices.
* Willingness to work well in a team environment and drive culture standards.
* Able to work extended hours, including night shift & weekends when required.
* Some mechanical knowledge or experience in plant maintenance.
* Valid Driver's Licence.
* A HR, HC or Forklift licence will be advantageous.
