Job Description A Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant at Summerset is more than just a cleaner.

We're looking for hardworking, caring Housekeeper/Laundry Assistants to join our warm and welcoming Cranbourne North village team.
This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.
As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant, you'll be a key part of creating a clean, uplifting, and homelike environment for residents, their families, and fellow team members.
Your day-to-day activities will include: Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, laundry, and kitchen facilities Laundering, folding and returning residents' clothing and linens with care and attention Labelling, mending and maintaining residents' personal laundry items Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures Building friendly, respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs You will be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am - 2pm or 7am - 3pm.
This role will commence on the 16th March **** and will start with 2-3 week of full-time training, Monday - Friday.

Qualifications You'll be a great fit if you: You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hopsiatlity Take pride in your work and care about the small details Are physically fit and comfortable working on your feet Have a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary — full training provided) At Summerset, we believe diversity strengthens our team and enriches the care we provide.
