About the role: Based at the Geographe Leisure Centre and Reporting to the Aquatics Team Leader, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of our pool facilities. Your duties will include maintaining water quality, facility hygiene and maintenance procedures, as well as ensuring a high regard to public safety and delivery of quality customer service. This is a full time position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the option to pick up additional hours on weekends as a casual Centre Supervisor if interested. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Relevant aquatic skills and experience, with the ability to work flexible hours between 5.00am – 8.30pm, Monday to Friday. You will also have the following developed skills: Knowledge of the Code of Practice, Aquatic Facilities Regulations (Health Department 2007). Background in pool plant operation and maintenance. Strong leadership skills. Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Organisational and time management skills. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Essential requirements for the role include the below current registrations / qualifications: Aquatic Technical Operator. Pool Lifeguard and Resuscitation. Provide First Aid and CPR. LIWA accreditation. National Police Clearance (not older than 6 months).
