We’re seeking a motivated Job Readiness Trainer to develop and deliver engaging, person-centred training that builds confidence, work capabilities, and career readiness for participants of our DARE Academy program.
What you’ll be doing:
Deliver tailored job readiness training and employment skills workshops to people with disability.
Develop and adapt training materials that are inclusive, accessible, and aligned to participant needs.
Support participants in building confidence, communication skills, and practical job-seeking tools (e.g. resumes, interview preparation).
Collaborate with Job Coaches and support staff to provide holistic employment preparation.
Work closely with employers, DES providers, and community organisations to ensure training is linked to real employment opportunities.
Monitor participant progress and adapt training approaches as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- A strong commitment to empowering people with disability- Experience in adult training, employment services, or disability support- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills- Ability to tailor content to diverse learning needs and styles- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and training platforms- Qualifications in Training & Assessment, Community Services, Disability or similar (desirable)
