The role
The opportunity is within a high growth, consumer products business operating in a US-listed environment, supporting a key pre-integration phase as the organisation works toward SOX compliance.
The role sits within a lean, high performing finance team and requires someone comfortable being hands on across audit, controls and broader finance delivery during a period of change.
* Support pre-integration finance activity in a US-listed structure
* Assist in preparing the business for SOX compliance, including documentation and control uplift
* Review and strengthen existing financial controls in line with SOX requirements
* Partner with finance leadership to identify control gaps and implement remediation plans
* Support internal and external audit processes, including managing requests and walkthroughs
* Act as key point of contact for external auditors (Big 4 and mid-tier)
* Assist with US GAAP considerations and alignment where required
* Contribute to month-end and reporting processes where needed to support team capacity
* Provide hands-on support across financial control, compliance and general finance operations
* Support transition of selected finance processes to offshore/European teams
* Assist with process documentation, standardisation and handover activities
* Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure continuity through change
* Provide additional senior finance capability during a period of transformation and increased workload
