Job Description
As a Compliance and Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening corporate governance and embedding best-practice compliance across the organisation. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence positive organisational culture, improve risk management systems, and ensure compliance with legislative and governance obligations while supporting the rights and interests of Traditional Owners.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with expertise in compliance, risk, and governance. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and Compliance Management Framework, ensuring alignment with legislative obligations, corporate planning, and reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in governance, compliance, and risk management, with experience working in complex environments. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Commerce, Law, Business, Risk Management, Governance or related discipline.
* Minimum of five years' relevant experience in governance, compliance, risk, fraud or complaints management.
* Minimum of five year leadership experience.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policies in complex compliance roles.
* Strong judgement and decision-making skills, with experience working in politically sensitive environments.
