Ventura Electrical is small, fast paced, efficient and tight knit team. We value respect and hard work. We are well established in Karratha and searching for a responsible and experienced electrician to help us expand into Port Hedland. The right candidate will be remunerated accordingly. This is not a FIFO position.
Qualifications & experience
* Electrical nominee is preferred
* Candidate will be required to self manage stock and tasks
* Strong fault finding and appliance testing abilities highly regarded
* Intimate knowledge of AS3000 and AS3017
* The successful candidate must be culturally tolerant as works often take place in a variety of culturally diverse environments
Tasks & responsibilities
* The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously
* Domestic and commercial maintenance and construction
* Tests and audits of government assets
* Occasional travel to remote communities
* Rotating on call roster
* Liaising with Horizon Power inspectorate regularly
