About you
There are no mandatory qualifications required to undertake this position, however the ideal candidate will be a team player that is passionate, positive and enjoys varied and interesting work, with a strong interest in fire management – no two days are the same. Your organisational skills will be key in managing competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your team is important to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment.
The ideal candidate displays
- Resilience, pragmatism, tenacity and confidence in a regional setting
- Courageous and ethical leadership with advanced communication skills
- Experience in fire and pest management and protected area management
- Organisational, project management and teamwork skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to problem solve and mentor others
- Health and safety (both physical and psychological)
