Role DescriptionYou will be responsible for building, maintaining, communicating and improving the short-term schedule. You’ll work closely with Production and Technical Services to translate targets and constraints into practical execution plans.
Key responsibilities include:Own and maintain the short-term schedule and protect schedule integrity,Translate production targets into an executable sequence across Drill & Blast, Truck & Shovel and/or Dragline,Manage key constraints and dependencies,Facilitate planning routines,Monitor plan compliance, analyse variances, and drive recovery actions with key stakeholders,Provide clear schedule narratives and reporting to site leaders,Operate as an embedded contractor by aligning to the site’s standards, systems, and ways of working, and contribute positively to team culture.

A Mining Engineering degree (or similar),Minimum 5 years’ experience in open cut coal, with strong scheduling/planning capability,Demonstrated exposure to at least one of: Drill & Blast, Truck & Shovel, Dragline (multi-stream experience highly regarded),Strong proficiency in scheduling/planning tools (highly regarded),Confident stakeholder management and the ability to influence without authority,Strong attention to detail, schedule discipline, and a bias for practical, field-ready outcomes.
